Term 3: Welcome Post

Welcome back to my blog, this is the 3rd and last term of this year. I am looking forward to another experience with yet another project, I hope I will get to improve most of the flaws from the last two terms, which includes the need for a deeper analysis of the research that I will do and show how it relates to my work, as that was something that I lacked in the last project in terms of building connections between research and understanding it to further prove my process of thought. I will also make sure to accommodate the blogs to the marking criteria regularly which was something that I lacked last term. Unfortunately, I did not use software for my 2d outcomes as much as I wanted to, in this project I plan on utilizing various tools, to reach a higher level of efficiency and precision in my design, which I think will help me in my undergraduate course.. Lastly, it was also hard to plan and manage my time, which made the project lack momentum in terms of blog posting, design development, and meeting soft deadlines.

Over the break, I was inspired by the various types of column decor from the Roman style to industrial and colonial.

I am determined to implement one of these and I think the most suitable would be the Roman Doric, and Greek Doric, since they are simpler and easier to recreate or model than the other ones, however, my favorite is the composite but I think that will be too hard to make. I will discuss this idea further in the next blog posts.
