Research on Cantilevers.

Definition of Cantilevers:

According to Beydoun (2021), cantilevers are defined as rigid structural elements that are extended horizontally or obliquely and supported in only one end. Like most other structural elements, a cantilever may be formed as slabs, trusses, plates, or beams. When a cantilever is subjected to a certain load in its free-end side the load is carried and transferred through shear stress and bending moment.

Contemporary architecture is a type of structure that draws inspiration from a variety of sources and shapes and represents a multitude of architectural design styles. Modern architecture from the 20th century is not the same as contemporary architecture since it embraces all forms of creativity and incorporates environmentally friendly elements. It makes use of the most recent technical materials and processes, such as tube construction, which aids in the creation of high-tech, robust, and tall structures. (World Atlas, 2019 cited in Baydoun et al,2021).

I will implement this in my project, especially at the top of the tower. since it diverges to the top and there will be a high load from the last floor where the restaurant/cafeteria will be.
