Crazy-8

In class, we tried a concept called crazy-8, which serves the purpose of brainstorming ideas. More precisely, we drew 8 ideas related to one of the three themes mentioned before. This is what I came up with.
the first three pictures are related to industrialism, In my head, I imagined a glass building with the main pillars made out of steel and concrete which is what I'd expressed in the third drawing. the first drawing is a side elevation as I had imagined it being built over an unharmonious plane. 
My second idea was totally different, as it follows the primitive theme(first picture from the right). It is a villa with glass windows and a unique primitive style expressed by the organic forms, from the general shape to the shape of the windows. a special feature that I added is the plants on the top of the roof, to sustain the environment, I also thought about adding solar panels so that this villa would have an independent, clean source of energy. Lastly, the bottom left drawing was supposed to be a top view of the villa however it did not turn out how I imagined.
In addition to the industrialism theme, I drew this gas plant which I did not relate to any of the previous ideas.
However, the idea that I will be pursuing further is the 3-floor building, which has very spacious outdoor areas. It consists of three oval-shaped floors overlapping one another, getting smaller to the top where we find the same ecological concept as the organic villa mentioned before.
Lastly, the picture at the bottom right is just a primitive hallway.

Since my project is derived from industrialism, we need to first ask what is industrial architecture? According to Hohendal, Kristin (2022), The design and construction of structures to support the requirements of the industrial sector is recognized as industrial architecture. The safe movement, distribution, and production of goods and labor are taken into account by the industrial world's architecture, which employs a variety of building designs and styles. Site plan analysis

                   2D picture of the site I chose this plan because it is close to the river yet far enough in case of floods. It is a 20m/20m square, which makes it 400 m². However, the Riad as a building will only be 255m².  This area is a village called Imlil. Which was severely damaged by the last earthquake in September 2023. According to Khatla (2023). Nearly 6000 houses were destroyed whilst 20000 were partly demolished. Research post N*4: The houses of parliament and Moorish architecture

This structure is what I find to be the most gorgeous one in the United Kingdom, alongside the best in the world, it is a prime pillar of Gothic Architecture. A fire broke out at London's historic Palace of Westminster in 1834. resulting in burning it down to ashes. The fire provided Britain with an opportunity to replace what was seen to be an antiquated, outdated, disorganized collection of government buildings as well as to construct a Gothic Revival monument that would symbolically represent the UK's global leadership and the origins of modern democracy.
