    My name is Mouad khiri and I am an architecture student at De Montfort University. I was born in Morocco where I lived for the first eighteen years of my life, however I came to England to finish my higher education studies. The typical Moroccan architecture is quite diverse due to the many cultures and civilizations that have passed through it over the years, with each leaving its unique touch. What first caught my eye is how this discipline mixes between art, design, creativity, logic, and laws of nature (Maths and Physics). Additionally, it seems fascinating that architects can design a project from scratch to the gorgeous masterpieces, that we've been blessed with observing; from basic and natural materials we can make it come to life as something that tells a story, something with a soul. On another note, I would consider that I have been playing piano for seven years a factor that directed me toward this field.

    Try to make this more about your interests in actual architecture. Here you can speak about your artistic/architectural inspiration, for example, who inspires you or what buildings inspire you. Your work is about Morocco, so why not speak about inspirational buildings from the top Architecture Firms/Architects in Morocco

Since my project is derived from industrialism, we need to first ask what is industrial architecture? Site plan analysis

                   2D picture of the site I chose this plan because it is close to the river yet far enough in case of floods. It is a 20m/20m square, which makes it 400 m². However, the Riad as a building will only be 255m².  This area is a village called Imlil. Which was severely damaged by the last earthquake in September 2023. According to Khatla (2023). Nearly 6000 houses were destroyed whilst 20000 were partly demolished. Research post N*4: The houses of parliament and Moorish architecture

This structure is what I find to be the most gorgeous one in the United Kingdom, alongside the best in the world, it is a prime pillar of Gothic Architecture. A fire broke out at London's historic Palace of Westminster in 1834. resulting in burning it down to ashes. The fire provided Britain with an opportunity to replace what was seen to be an antiquated, outdated, disorganized collection of government buildings as well as to construct a Gothic Revival monument that would symbolically represent the UK's global leadership and the origins of modern democracy. (Fiederer, 2016) The Palace of Westminster Picture by Alex brown. With the help of A.W.N. Pugin, Sir Charles Barry created the current Gothic Revival structures.
